the mach 460/1000 system is probably the biggest POS ever put into a ford vehicle

The subs sound fine plus they where free. I have a buddy that builds custom boxes and he's putting one together as we speak to make them hit harder. I have aftermarket door speakers that are amped. Just don't have enough bass.

And actually the subs that I have from the 1000 system are some of the best ever put in a vehicle stock. DVC 500+ watts each.

Where are you planning to install the subs?? Under the seat?? Lmk, I'm interested in how it turns out, because I'm thinking of putting more bass in my cab as well. I was wondering if I take that metal folding deck out from under the seat would I have enough clearance for a low profile box with 2 12" subs?? And then maybe I could mount the amp in the back of the seat. Idk but interested in how yours turns out.
