Looking to upgrade mirror...questions??

So another member share this link with me for replacement mirrors with compass and temps. My question is, I use my sync and I believe the mic for Bluetooth is in the mirror. So anyone swap theirs and still use the sync? Looking for any help on this, even write-ups, I suck at wiring thanks.

I was looking into it for my Dad's 13' E350. He got sync, but for whatever reason they decided not to include the temp in the mirror. I have been trying to find some info on taking apart the mirror, and piggybacking it on a temp mirror, but I think it's going to look horrible.

You could always switch out to a headliner mic from the new trucks. It's simple and looks good. I just added sync to my 08

Maybe fairly easy for one of our trucks, but on an econline extended, that's a huge headliner.

On my truck I didn't remove the headliner. I pulled down the weather strip, removed sunvisor and clip, and A-piller trim. Traced the metal bracket that sandwitches the headliner and cut it out with a small razor knife. Mounted the metal bracket and ran the wire down the A-piller. Yours is already wired so you should just be able to pull the wire over to where the headliner mic mounts.
