I have an 08 PSD Crew FX4 and it has the black leather interior. My buddy has an 08 with black leather interior exactly like mine but his is a Lariat. The only difference between his truck and mine is he has moveable foot pedals, electric rear window, and rear reverse sensors.

Awesome. When did he get his 08? I just ordered mine on November 1st and the black interior was not an option. The only leather available was the Tan & Gray. I really hope that the black leather in the Lariat is like the FX4 because that is the interior that I want. If the FX4 would have come with more options that is the model I would have chosen. Hopefully I will know something soon. Thanks for the reply and does anyone know if the SD plant closes down for the Holidays? When I ordered mine the dealer said 6 to 8 weeks but I dont know if I need to factor in any Holiday time.

His truck was actually one of the 07 converted to an 08. He has the 6.4 and new body style, I think he got it near the first of the year (March'ish).
His interior is identical to mine.

I saw an 08 f250 fx4 with the black leather and white stichwork. hands down one of the best looking trucks. there is a black on black leater fx4 on ebay right now that is really nice too

I got a call from my salesman yesterday about ammending the order and he said that it doesnt show on their system yet so he pulled up the ford site and I showed him where it is an option now and he is going to make some phone calls to Ford and see what the deal is. Ill post up when I find out something.

Well, after alot of phone calls from me and my dealer I found out yesterday that the Black interior is not available for the Lariat which really sucks. The only thing worse is they still havent begun to build my truck. Im really hoping it will be done by the end of January.

Bummer- about both man! wish it were a different case. I was getting happy to think the black was available for the Lariats too!

I also noticed this black leather option, but I noticed that it is only avail on the 250. As soon as you go to a 350, you only get stone and camel. I want black too, but not an FX4, so had to settle for stone.
