GPS cuts out when the Heater is on.

I have an 08 F350 with the stock GPS. Right now it's about 12 degrees outside. I've found that when driving around with the heater on, the GPS only lasts about 15 minutes, and then I get an error screen telling me I might have a dirty disk. If I turn off the truck for a few minutes, and then on again, the GPS will be working again for another 15 minutes or so.

I tried doing a search but didn't come up with anything. Is this a common problem? Any remedies?
