plug on the side of the center console

I just got an 08 6.4. So far I love it. I was lookng around the truck an electrical plug on the passenger side of the console near the floor. What is that for? I couldnt find anything in the owners manual.

Do you have a picture of it. That may be aftermarket. I know I don't have it. Was there a power inverter option in 2008?

it should be plugged into the console. see if you have cigarette lighters in your console and see if they work.

Ya I have no earthy idea what that is... I was actually envisioning like a wall outlet. I would guess the same as ^^ check your power sockets in the console.

Yup that's what it was. None of the 12v worked opened the back up and the cig lighter harness isn't there. I think it maybe after market.
