I recently traded my 04 Avalanche for an 08 F250. And in my Avvy I had 2 10" Kicker l7's. So I went to my local stereo shop and told me if i wanted anything close to my old system I would have to either do a cab cut or put buckets in my back and build a center console box to hold the subs. Im JW if anybody out there has done this or found another way around putting something like these in their truck without doing a cab cut. I can build the box no problem, my friend did this to his Chevy a few months ago, I would just like to see some pictures of what it would look like since i can't find any on Google.

**EDIT** just noticed you were talking about buckets in the back seat. I'll still post pics of mine.
I have a custom center console I built in mine. 1 Rockford Fosgate shallow mount 10" sub. I reused the center console lid and cup holders and built a box that sits about 3" taller than the factory center console and goes up to the dash and back an extra 2". The sub downfires and has just under .75 ft^3. Sounds good but won't bust ear drums. It was simple to build but I covered with a low quality vinyl that I'm not happy with. I plan to rip that off, glass it and then texture and paint it. I need to make it fit to the dash a little better and also would like to bring a/c vents back to the back seat underneath it. I don't have any pics but I'll take some tomorrow when I get in it and post them here. It isn't perfect yet but the idea is there if you want to perfect it. |

That sounds good. Like I said, a buddy of mine did it to his old truck and I liked it. It was just a Chevy so the interiors look nothing alike and I wanted to know how good it would look in a Ford.

I cant remember how I came upon it but i did see a 6.0 with rear buckets exactly like your talking about. Im pretty sure it was an 8-lug featured truck with the entire dash fiberglassed and the interior was all silver. They had made a custom fiberglass center console in the rear i think with three 12s tho. If you were to make a more square one With just the two l-7s it would look alot better as long as your seats match.
