Adding center console- a/c vents

Wanting to add the center console with the air vents and ditch the jump seat. Now, how do you make those vents functional?? Anybody done it?

I'm interested in this as well. I would love to have the larger center console in my 05 with the air vents. I'm tired of people b*tching about no air in the back lol

I wonder if the larger consoles will even fit in an 05-07 truck?

I assume all that needs to be done is get some "Y" splitters to tap into a vent tube under the dash, then get some flexible vent tubes that are the right size, then the 2 outlets for the back of the console.

I'd measure and find out what sizes will work on the back of the console, then find out what vehicle to pull them from, maybe in a junkyard. I'd pull the vents, vent hoses and all from the same vehicle then just fab up a "Y" for under the dash.

Sounds easy enough in my mind, I'm sure there will be some hickups along that way

^^ I'd agree, just find a wrecker with it so you can have them pull the vent parts at the same time.

Or just tell the backseat *****es to shut up
