No interior lights
one night I noticed that my interior lights would not come on, I can turn them on if use the switches on the lights themselves but if open my door and use my dimmer switch they no work. the dimmer switch works for my cluster lights. I have checked some fuses (7,8,9,10,25,26) but not sure if I checked the right one. any ideas would help

I know this sounds really stupid but check your bulbs with an ohm meter and see if they are good. I had the same issues as you. Turned out to be the bulbs. They have different bulbs for the switched light vs dome light.

Not stupid at all sir you were right. I never thought of the bulbs because I wont have thought they would have both went out at the same exact time

same thing happened to me with my old trucks headlights. Both blew out at the same time, figured no way that it could happen, changed switchs, relays, traced all the wiring, turned out both bulbs blew. even if they look good, they can be blown

I have to say many thanks to Mustangnut6788. I had the same issue, no interior lights when I opened the door. This truck was new to me and I could not figure it out. Popped off the light covers and two blown bulbs! THANK YOU!!!!!
