What is This?

I have a '08 6.4L. I just noticed a wiring harness on the floor behind the passenger side back seat (beside the jack). Nothing is plugged into the harness, but something could be. What in the heck is this used for?

I have no idea. But I have a wild guess.
Maybe for a big stereo system, or something of that nature?

The actual Flux Capacitor is a $25,000 option. They do, however, have the plug & wiring in place.

akk82,

I have an '08 that I ordered with the audiophile system, but still hasn't come in. Can you tell me what that radio looks like or even post a picture of it? The dealship didn't have any in stock, and no one new what that radio actually looked like. I ask this because on the Ford site it has a picture of what looks like the DVD/Nav as the Audiophile radio. Didn't know if you really get the DVD/Nav radio just without that function.

Thanks a million.

Mark

When I ordered mine I wondered the same thing. The ford website shows the nav. unit, but unless it clearly says on your sticker (or you know you paid 2500 extra) then you will have the normal 6 disc cd player. You wont be dissapointed though. The audiophile system sounds awesome for a factory system. The subwoofer doesnt do bad and the door highs make a big difference. In all no navigation or dvd screen, but a very good sounding factory system.

That's what I figured. I didn't need the DVD/Nav nor did I need a screen to distract me even more than I already am.

I more question though, you say you got yours loaded. I am going to assume you got Sirius with it too. How well does the radio display the station/artisits/song titles?
