Rear Passenger Seat Belt Mechanism.

The rear seat belt won't retract. It's completely out and nothing pulling it in.

I took off the panel, took off the seatbelt and got into the retracting mechanism. Man, it's complicated. I have been messing around with it but can't get it to work.

I now just want to replace it with a wrecker part.

Does anyone have any advice? Do you know where I could get a used mechanism? Do I have to buy the entire unit or can I just buy the new mechanism. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Talk to Ford first. There may be some sort of safety items warranty were they will replace it. I know they will give you seat belt extenders for free (great for turning off the annoying seat belt reminder chime).
