I like the idea. Question is if that is a comfortable place to reach for the phone all the way accross the dash. I am tall so my seat is all the way back, and Im pretty sure I would have to lean out of my seat to reach that. I have been trying to figure something out for my phone like that but cant make a decision for that reason.

I have this setup in a few other cars I own. The setup in the F350 is nice because it gives me an in your face view of the phone. If someone calls me while I am driving I reach over and hit answer and let the bluetooth in the car take over. I also have it plugged in so it charges. If by your question you ask is it comfortable to reach over, I don't understand logically unless you mean texting or surfing the web while you are driving. If you wanted to, you could actually mount the panavise mount on the other side of the radio, as it uses the two screws on each side of the radio to mount onto, and have it that much closer to you.

Whats wrong with putting it in the cup holder
J/K Looks good and sturdy!! Im assuming the bracket mounts to the headunit screws?

Just an update, if you replace your head unit with an aftermarket one and you use a metra dash install kit, you will not be able to use this panavise bracket since the dash kit is shaped differently than the contour of the factory head unit.

I like the idea but unless I have a passenger riding with me I have 3 of the 4 air vents pointed at me, the farthest one I keep closed. This would block one & that's a deal breaker.
