Seat comfort

Has anyone noticed that the old seats from the 7.3 era trucks, both front and rear, are FAR more comfortable than the new seats? The rear seats especially, the bottom extends to the knee instead of mid thigh. For reference, I have a 2010, and while the front seats are decent, the rear are horrible for long trips. The old trucks have great seats, almost like a couch.

Has anyone done a seat switch?

I don't know about seats from a 7.3 but the 2011 seats are better than what came in the 08-10 models. The front two bolt right in, not sure about the rears.

I dont mind my seats really. Only time I've ever thought mine were uncomfortable was on a 17 hour trip straight trip to Jacksonville, FL and back.

Honestly, I dont find the seats in my 6.4 all that bad. Maybe its because they are the King Ranch. Would that make a difference?

I like my seats but they still aren't as comfortable as my 1999 Dodge seats were.

Gotta agree, owned nothing but Dodges (4 of them) before this. Love this 2010 F250 a whole lot more both pulling and definitely looks wise. But I can't find the sweet spot either in the driver's seat on long trips. Even found that the passenger seat is more comfortable than the driver's seat when my wife takes her turn driving. What's up with the drivers seat, only have 10,000 miles on the truck...hoping it just needs wearing in.

I just got home from a 3300 mile trip to go hunting. Both driver and passenger seat are very comfortable over the many miles. One day was 771 miles the next was 682 miles never got sore or had any complaints except seeing corn field after corn field after corn field........
