Popping Noise in Steering wheel?

My steering wheel makes a slight popping noise, only when it is turned to the left?
anybody else experience this??

Me too! it just started this a few weeks ago and it is only when I turn to the left also.

I also have this problem in my 550, cant seem to find where its coming from

I had this same issue. If I pushed up on the wheel and then pulled down it had a slight pop, drove me nuts. The dealership replaced the column under warranty as it is a nonservicable column. Probably not what you wanted to hear

No problem. I first noticed the popping only when I was turning left as well, and then I could get it to pop almost every time. My truck only had about 60k on it when it started.

when it pops does it feel like its catching, or does the wheel still move freely just makes noise?

I know this thread got old but I have an update.. 5k after new steering column my truck is starting to do it again. Very slightly but I notice it, gotta be something coming loose in the steering column. Any one else have any updates
