Driver's Side 12V Acc. panel?

I want to access the power behind the driver's side 12V accessory plug. I poked at it today while waiting to pick up my wife and it looks like I may be able to pop it right out with a flathead. Is this true or do you need to take the entire dash apart to access this wiring?

I can't seem to get at it from under the dash (I want to tap splice my GPS to it).

If I remember correctly. You just use a screwdriver like your thinking

Yeah, on the bottom edge of the panel is a small notch, run a flathead in there and pop it right out...
