Painted door panels

Figured I would split up the plain and kinda blah all tan door panels on my truck by painting the pockets with plasti-coat. Pretty cool since they have a rubbery feel and more durable than regular paint. Hardest part was cleaning the conditioners off so the tape would stick. Still a little wet in the picture.

Do you have an xl?

Where are the rear 2 speakers in this truck?

Mines a lariat, full leather and premium sound system, and they are right above the wood trim, you can see them in the picture. There's also a sub on the passenger side behind the seat.

I see a small o that lools like a tweeter but not a full speaker that is in the front door. Im asking because im lookinh at an xl and it said 2 spakers but does have power lock and window and im going to upgade the inside with 2007 seats or 2011 and do a custom sound system

Hey, post another picture now that it has had time to set up. It almost looks photoshopped in the picture you posted. Maybe try and have the sunlight shining on it and a little closer up. I am interested, but dang... ballsy move spraying your door panel. Would it peel back off if you didn't like it. I know some have done their wheels and it peels off, but that is metal and you have applied it to a granular plastic surface... just curious.

I like the look, but would want the sheen to be even.

Monster NRG , most of the speakers for the back are in the back behind the back door in the pillars ,and youll see some with like you said tweeters in the backdoor where it8eazy has his ,i have a lariat aswell but early 08 so they dont have tweeters in my back doors only 2 6x8's in the back pillars like i mentioned !! hope this helps a bit

Yes it does. I was hoping this was the case and if i do get an xl i wont need new door panels
