2008 F250 Bench 40/20/40 vs. Captain's Chairs

By way of driver's comfort, anyone want to chime in here on how much of a difference the captain's chairs make?

The bench has lumber and just as much adjustment as the captain's, right?

Thanks,
Eric

The Captains and the Bench are the same seat, the only difference is the center console, personally I like the bench with the wider and higher armrest.

I just got my 08 with the captains chairs. I was looking at a couple with the bench and my last two trucks had a bench but the second I saw the captains I was sold just on looks alone but as far as comfort Im pretty sure they are the same seat but the with the captain chairs center console you get major storage space. thats big for me seeing how small the glove box is. It was worth it to give up the extra passenger space seeing that will only make me uncomfortable

Center console on bench too high for my comfort. With CC, you can adjust seat hight to make center console/armrest perfect height.

Ive tried both and prefer the captains chairs. the armrest on the 40/20/40 was very uncomfortable and a bit short for me. I like the center console on the captains chairs alot better. Now if I could only get the package I want.

I ended up with the 40/20/40 bench. I went with a manual so I didn't have an option. The chair seems to be just as comfortable to me. The armrest provided by the center console with the captain's chairs is nice but I'll live with the fold down piece.
