Removing trim from vents???

I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I have the FX4 package and that has chrome trim around the vents on the dash and around the cup holders on the center console. When it's sunny out the sun reflects off the chrome into my eyes. How does that chrome come off? I want to paint it black to stop this problem. Thank you for any advice.

I can't help you on the cup holder ones but I know the outermost dash ones come off with the trim pieces and probably just pop out from there. the center ones will be removed with the trim piece around radio and all I believe.

Never thought about painting them but I see where your coming from, they blind me as well. Come to think of it painting them with VHT nightshades would probably look really cool. It would just tint the chrome to a black chrome and not reflect nearly as much, but still be shiny

Ok. I've got the side ones figured out but how does the dash trim around the radio come off?? Any one pulled that off before?

the cup holders i never figured out ...i was gonna do the same until i realized it would look wierd cause the gauge pod has em too
