driver seat heater not working

Hey all, one of these days I am going to feel comfortable giving advice on others issues, but in the mean time I need a little more learning.
At any rate, my new to me 08 f350 driver seat heater is inop. The light on the dash lights up same as the passengers (working) but no heat

I was so excited for a new truck because my lb7 gmc had this same issue, but now I just think my butt just isn't supposed to be warm.

Also what is the deal with these seats!! I have the black fx4 leather interior and the seat is extremely narrow and uncomfortable, same as my dads 05 KR.
I could literally drive ALL day in my leather Duramax, now I am only good for about 2 hours, just can't seem to sprawl out the same way. I am small, bout 5'7" and a buck thrity

Sank you beddy mush

if you are still covered by the 36mo bumper to bumper take it in. its a warranty issue.. mine stopped as well ,the heater element stopped working and a new one had to be installed...you can buy the elements and remove the seat cover if you do it yourself..... don't know about your comfort issues,, im much bigger than you and find them to be fine... did 17hrs straight last spring for plams springs to portland with no problem??? although ive never had a chevy so i cant compare the 2
