How to rotate front seats
I have an '08 Lariat with leather, power, and heat. It has 75k miles and I am wanting to rotate the seat cushions due to wear on the door sides from entry and exit. The seat backs don't really have any wear, so I'm just wanting to rotate the cushions. Anyone done this and have any time saving suggestions? Thanks.

good point. I'll follow. Seams the power seat buttons would be on the inside.

subscribed, don't know if this is possible but would be nice to know as my seat wears.

So you're saying remove the cushion from the base and switch them? Interesting. I'd like to know the answer to this too.

Surely somebody's done this. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal to find someone who could shed some light on any quirks the Ford might have. I've done this on several other vehicles. I'll dig into it when I get a chance and post any problems.

Hey Not sure this can be done. I changed out the skins on my truck this last year. I wanted Black instead of the light grey. If I remember right the cushions are different shaped on the outside vs. the inside. I don't think the seams and hog rings will line up. Like I said it has been a year since I have done this so memory could be slipping.

Does anyone know how to remove the Lumbar adjustment knob from the side of the seat controls? I've looked at rotating the seats, and if I can get this knob off without tearing it up, I think this is doable.
