removing ac vents

I thought there was a thread on here in regards to removing the AC/heat vents in the dash but i cant find it. Mine are the ones with the chrome Bezel if thay makes a difference. Anybody know how to remove them. Two of mine have broke and wont stay open anymore. They seem to be made pretty crappy, my truck is 08 only has 20k on it. thanks

I just removed mine about a week ago to clean them up since they were caked with dust from the Rice Fields. If you look at your vent and turn it to where its lined up. (so yo would just have to flip it straight down to close). There's 2 little black tabs on each side. put your fingers behind those tabs and gently pull out. If I remember there is 4 clips behind it and it will just pop out. I made it through 3 of them without breaking a clip and on the last one i broke one tab!! Oh well, they're nice and clean now

How about the cup holder bezels in the center console? Any thoughts?
