Question Upgrade window motors and switches

I'm looking to modify my power windows so that both fronts windows support Auto, not just for rolling the window down but also to roll the window up.

I'm wondering if anyone has approached this? Would it be just switches or motors and switches? Other then labor which can be a DIY project, I can't see it being too expensive. Just a matter of whether it will work or not.

Seems to me its the switch as a whole, not the motor. and I have looked into it. BUT, you cannot seperate the single auto switch out of the block of 4. (I have a CC) They are made into one peice. If anyone could do it, i would love to know how. as I have a second window block here waiting to do the conversion. I would love to do all 4.

I have the Viper 5901 and installed the DEI 530T window modules for the front and rear windows. The 530T has one touch up and down which I use all the time. I believe you can install them without an alarm. You will only need one module for the front drivers and passengers windows. If you want to do the back window also, you will need to get another one. I got them from this seller on eBay for about $50...

CarStereoNeeds 530T

They are not hard to install, but you do have to cut into some wires in the driver side kick panel area and run 4 wires into the drivers door which was not easy. There is a wire harness plug connecting the electrical for the door to the body, not a rubber boot like older cars so you will have to get a little creative.

You can also use a drivers window control module from a early 90's Thunderbird and Explorer. Gives you both auto up and down on the door its installed in.

Bringing this back from the dead after doing a little research...

Lately I've been looking at picking up a used 2010 Lincoln MKS with Ecoboost as a daily driver and came across something interesting while studying the interior. I noticed the Lincoln MKS has all four auto up/down feature and the switches look identical to the Super Duty. Anyone know if the connectors are interchangeable and this is as easy and plug and play???

Lincoln MKS (Ford OEM P/N AA5T-14540-AAW)...

08-10 Crew Cab Super Duty (Ford OEM P/N 8L8Z-14529-AC)...

I also checked with a buddy of mine and his 2010 Shelby GT500 convertible has all four auto up/down buttons.

Hell, even the new 2013 Super Duty Platinum doesn't have all four auto up/down buttons...WTF???

I'd check in to the connector myself, but out to sea right now.
