Reupholstering Front Seats

Anyone reupholstered the front seats? Mine are starting to crack on the front part of the cushion, where it starts to curve, just before the stitching. Looks like little nicks. Didn't notice it when I purchased it, but I could have missed it (bought truck 4 months ago with ~50k miles).

I don't like cloth and leather is a pain to care for (in the long run). My favorite seat covering ever was the vinyleather (not sure what it's really called) on my '05 Dodge Ram 1500 work truck. Would love to get some of that in tan for my current truck.

Curious if anyone has reupholstered and how much it would cost.

I am currently reupholstering my 2005 f250. I hired the job out. the guy is getting the seat skins from katzkins. I am getting the upgraded leather for the seats (King Ranch). For the two front and the read 60 40 split is around $1200.00 for the skin kit and labor.
