I got this option on mine but have not used it yet here in Ohio. If we get a cool night I will check it out and let you know. Love the truck though, best I have ever had.

It is all automatic with the regular heater. No other switches etc.

Quick Heater in '08

Bought mine 6/21 in Georgia. On day it was 107, heater could not get interior past 112. Will need to wait until winter in GA to test which is the second week of February.

I didn't even know I had a quick heater until three days ago when it got cold. I left home to take gkids to school. Granddaughter said she was cold, as I pulled out of the driveway. flipped on the heater and cab was warm in about one block. really cool (warm). My wife likes it to.

Where we are, it gets COLD. Plugged in, remote started, mine's comfortable in a couple of minutes in -40 deg weather. If I could only figure out how to turn on the seat heater(s) when I use my command start......this heater is really effective, especially since extended idleing is a no-no thanks to the PDF and regen crap.
