Micro scratches/swirls on wood grain dash and instrument panel
Any ideas on how to remove these? They are on the dash and on the stereo display. You can really notice them when direct sunlight is hitting them. I only use clean MF towels to clean the dash. I think when dealer detailed it the last time my truck was in the shop for 2 weeks they may have happened. Not sure so cant prove it.
I see that Meguiars makes a product called PlastX. Looks like this might work. |

I use products to clean my truck from a company called Adam's Polishes. They have a glaze that may work that fills in small inperfections in the paint, so it may also work on the plastic trim on your dash. I havn't used it myself yet, but plan to purchase some as soon as I can.
They are very very friendly and helpful, so don't be afraid to call and ask what they reccomend. Plus, if you aren't happy, they have a 110% guarantee in which you get 110% of your money back. |
