Heated seats
08 F350. My drivers seat isn't heating up anymore. I switched relays to my passenger side and still nothing. I can hear the relay engage and from what i can tell i have power going to the heating elements.
Just wondering if there is something i am missing or if there is a way to check and see without pulling it out of the seat first. Thanks Also, anyone know a replacement part number? |

I've got the same prob, saved a thread on a way to figure it out let me see if I still have it. But with yours being an 08 I would just take it to the dealer for warranty work.

I don't have that problem, but if you can ever find out how to have it turn off after a set amount of time, sign me up. One day my *** is gonna start to look like a piece of bread in the toaster too long.

Powered sparkless, forgive me but I cannot find the thread you posted.
Also I know its an 08, but i have 130,000kms and warranty for everything ran out at 60,000. Just have powertrain left. I priced out new elements at the dealership and it will run me $500 per seat!!! Smotrs, trade you !!!! Mine turn off every 10 minutes or so. |

Have the same problem. Driver side wasn't working so I switched the relays under the seat and still nothing. Even the passenger side doesn't get warm. I checked the fuses in the passenger foot well and also in the black box in the left side of the engine compartment. I'm at a loss right now. I don't think its the big module under the seat as that controls other things and they all work. If I find out anything I'll let you know.

My 05 didn't have heated seat and I seen the price of OEM elements(way over priced). I found a complete heated seat set-up in JEGS for around $75-80 ea. and installed them myself.

ohm out the seat heaters... If you get NADA... then time to replace.
most of the time its the heater it self. you can buy aftermarket ones online. BTW: easy to replace |

My 08 is doing the same thing on drivers side, hear the relay click but little heat. Have yet to dig into it but I will stay tuned to any results and will post what I find.
