2011 console in 2010 F250

just bought a 2010 f250, regret not getting the 2011 so wanting to convert the center consoles to get the rear air. all i need to know is will it fit where it mates to the dash? and what is the best option on how to buy everything? and will the 2010 console lid fit on the 11? need to go run by a dealership and check out everything before it goes underway.

suscribed, i looked into this when the 11s first came out and want to know, i think you would have to take the bottom part of the dash off (where the cupholders and ash tray are) and then the console munts there, seems pretty strait forward to me, for the rear air you would probably have to tap into the ac outlets in the top of the dash and run piping down and back for that...hope it is pretty simple, i dont know where to get everything though so good luck and post plenty of pictures when you decide on it!

will definitely post pics if i do it. should have around a $1000 budget which i would think should be enough. running the ac i don't think will be an issue, just need to determine if the lower dash is the same so it will look factory.

if anyone has any hints or suggestions let me know

i am pretty sure that it does fit in the under part of the dash, a while back i put the pictures of them side by side and saw that they were the same, the only difference is that the top bezel doesnt have the black squares, but the size and shape is the same!

haha ya he beat me to it as well, im gonna go look at some 6.7s on monday to take measurements to see what needs to be done...i would love to have that plug!

might have to change out the bottom piece where the fold up cup holders are at but that pops off and you can put the different one in there

so it looks like i have to buy one out of a King ranch, since i'm assuming that 2011 is a lariat with the black console?

plan on running by a dealership later this week and compare the two side by side.

anyone have a source to get these parts or will i be stuck dealing with the dealer since its to soon to find take offs

yeah your pretty much stuck with the dealer yeah the 2011 is a lariat but the consoles are still black with a the king ranch leather on the lid

the king ranches are tan with a brown leather top, i would get one of them and then swap the lid for a black one since i have a lariat with tan interior...the bottom piece on the console is connected to the console so it is all one piece and i would guess that it just slides in there.
