08 headliner falling?

i have an 08 cc with sunroof. the plastic push clip that hold the center of the headliner in keeps falling out. i have to push the headliner up like 2" to push the plastic clip in and in a couple of days it falls back out. the plastic push pin still looks to be in good shape with plenty of plastic ribs to hold in place. why and what are my solutions on fixing? am i the only one to have this issue? truck has 40k so i am out of warrenty.......

Even if the push clip has ribs on it doesn't necessarily mean it's still good. In my experience they are really only good for the first push in. After you pull it out the first time, they're done. The plastic is so thin that it fatigues really easily. Just go down to the dealer and buy a new pin. Or check out an auto parts store. You may be able to color match there for less.
