steering wheel

Can somebody tell me how to remove steering wheel on lariat with airbag ? ordered a replacement on ebay and airbags make me nervous

disconnect neg terminal from BOTH batteries,then step on brake about five or six times to get the reserve power out of there,after that there is no way it should deploy no matter what you do...

crappy tan leather is wearing out and lookin crappy??
i was actually thinking of a xlt steering wheel for replacement
