is anyone familer with any fixes for the color coming off the steering wheel? i have an 2008 with 18,000 and the wheel is starting to lose its finish. I keep everything clean including my hands . anyone ever get ford to replace the wheel or wheel cover?

I was wondering the same thing. Mine is almost flaking off, gets little bits of leather everywhere

My 08 isnt looking to good either, so I tried a cover even though I hate them and I took it off after a couple of days and it made it worse.

OK UPDATE.....took the truck into dealer, had an issue with some little knocking motor not opening and closing ac/heat vents. Anyway so i brought up the steering wheel, and their response was" haven't seen that for awhile, but no problem we will replace it".. so i says, "well if you are going to replace it i would like a blk one. and they says" ok...but... the center airbag will not be replaced so your wheel will be tu-toned. and i says" perfect lets do it".....here are the pics.
