rear door on a crew cab

So ive noticed that unless i turn the key off people in the back cant get out unless they physically unlock the doors or I do. The child locks are not on but unlike the front doors when you pull the handles it doesnt unlock them...is this on everyones?

On your display, go through the menu until you find Autolock. Turn it off and now the doorlocks will not lock when you start to drive and the rear doors can be opened via the door handle since they won't be locked now. Hope this helps.

Look in your book, there is a way to "unlock ALL doors" upon exit. You will be amazed on how many different things that you can program in there yourself.

Ok so I looked in the book and didnt find an unlock all doors except for auto unlock when the key is turned off. I am trying to figure out why the rear doors wont unlock when the handle is pulled like the fronts even when the key is on. Its annoying when the people in the back try to get out and have to unlock the door manually or i have to hit the button...

Did I just miss the setting? I have it set to unlock when the truck is turned off.

Ford is the only one that I know of that has the door handle door unlock. My guess is that the rear doors have the safety built into them and you will not be able to change it without modifying the door.

i find that funny that it would be considered a safety feature keeping you from getting out of the car if you needed/wanted to...Man i hope it can be changed.
