what the hell? service wont fix my mp3 6 disc radio?

I took my truck into service, huge service dept here in tx. because one day the radio said bad disc to all my mp3 cds and now wont play any burned mp3 cds. cds that worked for months dont work, or new ones. I drop it off and they call me and leave a voicemail my truck is ready to go....


Then when I get there they tell me they didnt fix it. they said they all do that. and if they replaced my radio it would do it again and waist there money? WTF? ALL do what? break? I doubt it!

that is BULL**** go to another dealership. i had my 6 disc mp3 in for about 4 months and never had an issue and if i did, it would have gotten fixed. those guys must be retarded. id give another dealership a call and explain to them what these guys said. chances are they will tell you to bring it to them and they will make it right.


but uh.. worst case scenario... i am selling my stock 6 disc mp3 head unit..hint hint hahaha

haha well my bro is the new car manager, i just talked to him now there willing to replace it but I cant understand how a service writer can say all of them do it and we dont fix them because they will break again? are they implying they sell POS products? LOL. on a side note I want a screen anyways I just want this fixed.

Only thing I can see, is if you've got CD's with paper labels on them in there, Ford/United Radio won't fix it.

Just sharing knowledge, don't know all the particulars of your situation.
