Removal of overhead storage compartment

I need to pull the headliner and I have the overhead storage console. What's the trick without destroying everything?

just pull it down. i just took mine down yesterday and all that holds it up is the compression clips. no screws

Yup, it just pulls right off. It's a bit worrisome the first time you do it, so just go slow. Now, I can just hop in and have mine off in no time.

Seems too easy. I figured there would be screws compression clips and a piece that would break every time it was removed.
