What is this?

New member here. I traded my 2007 5.4L XLT Crew Cab F150 for a Job 3 F250 Lariat the day before christmas. In the week that I have owned it I have pieced together most of the build sheet but some questions remain. For instance, what is this item mounted to he windshield behind the rear view mirror. If it helps, the truck is equiped with a rear view camera (with mirror display) and backup sensors

That looks like the motion sensor/valet unit for my aftermarket alarm system. Does it have an aftermarket alarm installed?

Josh,

the truck came with little info on how it was equiped. Whatever I know, I had to piece together myself, other than the obvious equipment package - Lariat.

When I took delivery of the truck, I was not given any keys for an aftermarket alarm remote. I am going to submit a build sheet request to Ford to get a better idea what equipment this truck was built with.

I didn't think about the GPS. I am used to seeing Dome antennas for GPS.

Here is a pic of mine. Sorry for the crappy quality. The sun was in the wrong direction to get a good picture.
