2010 DVD/Navigation over-ride???

How does one go about over-riding the factory DVD player so that it can play while in gear? Also does anyone know a way to go about getting a DVD inlet/outlet for the factory system that would allow for a flip down screen to work with the factory unit? Basically meaning the same DVD playing on the head unit plays on the flip down. Thanks for any help.

It's available. I bought one. Not completely happy with the way it works though. When I had it in mine I couldn't use my nav.

just find the park wire going into the back of the unit and put a toggle on it or just wire it into the acc. power so it thinks it is in park anytme the key is on

That does not work for the newer systems. They recieve their reverse signal as a data signal on the CAN Bus. The only way to overide these units is to fake the CAN Bus signals which is what the Sync Lockpic unit does.
