Disabling Reverse sensor's
I got my first question about my new truck. On the 2010 how do you temporarily disable the reverse sensor system if backing up with tailgate down. on my 2001 ther was an obvious switch. The manual does not clearly indicate how to disable this function.
Thanks All |

Should be a round button with an "R" on it to the left of your climate controls.

When you put the truck in reverse hitting the reset button on the driver information center should turn off the beeping. |

Jason thanks that exactly correct there is no round button where the manual says it should be to turn of the reverse warning tone. The manual is a little outdated. I will try the reset button this evening

I just bought a 08 F-350 Dually and the back up alarm appears to be turned off. The "Off" light on the button has been on since i got the truck. Any ideas on how to get it turned back on so i can use it? Its a tight fit in the garage and the alarm may be helpful

Just got mine out of the shop today. That was one of the things wrong with it, they changed one of the sensors and they work now. |
