Yeah the sunroof does have alot of wind noise. I only run with mine open when crusing back roads and where I live that is what I drive 90% of the time and dont go over 50

well now that i think of it the noise doesnt bother me as much as the damn sun hanging straight down.. if its a cloudy day ill rock the sunroof open... but even with sunglasses on and a bright sun it pisses me off haha

I'd love to have a sunroof in my truck, just to be able to have the sun comign in the truck on a nice cool fall day, but unfortunately due to the sunroof eating up 3 inches of head room, I cant have it. Being tall does have its disadvantages

I use my sunroof 90% of the time. If I am in the city and not on the freeway I can run with it wide open with very little noise. On the freeway I will keep it in the "up" position as it is a little quieter.

It only starts to make a lot of noise when your up over 40mph. I found that wide open its not bad until the air deflector starts bouncing from the air going over it- If you reach up and hold the deflector then there is very little noise. In the "up" position it has a fair amount of wind whistle. Now, if you have a rear sliding window you can open it in the "up" position voila...things get quiet again. This is how I drive the highway..and then I crank up the music and forget about it!!!

Hence why I need the electric slider window.
