09' F-350 Temperature Adjustment

Does anyone know how to adjust the digital ext. thermometer on the a/c panel. For the past 4 days it has reading higher than the correct temp. This morning at 6:00 am it was reading 102 deg. Yesterday evening it was reading 101 when the actual temp. was 86 according to the weather channel at 7:00pm

I know of no adjustment. Maybe the tech can hook up his computer and change parameters but I doubt it. I would guess it's a bad temperature sensor unit and would need replacing.

If you live in a major city your temp gauge will never read what the weather channel says the temp is. The reason being: the weather normally pulls their temp readings from the top of their doppler towers............well above the "urban heating" effect. Your gauge pulls from behind the grille, only 5' off the ground, and is subject to reading extra heat radiating off the pavement.

Its a bad temp sensor. Happended to my 6.0. Head to the dealer and have them replace it.
