Front Captain Chair Uncomfortable Need Help

I have a 08 Lariat but the drivers seat is soft and nonsupportive. Has anyone else had this issue. The passanger seats feels much firmer and better so i'm wondering if its possible I have a bad cushion on the drivers side. Now I know normal wear could cause this but my truck has been this way since i drove it off the lot. I have 8000 miles now and the seat is very uncomfortable. Has anyone else noticed this or can provide help. I love the truck and am looking for someway to fix this single issue.

sounds like 1 of 3 things... perhaps the spring pack below is not connected
resulting in loss of support and feeling soft, Or perhaps the foam is cutting into
the supporting spring pack Kind of like a cheese cutter but with only 8K is it unlikely, last thing perhaps the foam insert that came with your truck is defective. your seat is pretty easy to service. I can tell you the dealer is not going to be able to fix this issue. They will send it out to a local Upholstery shop, or replace the seat. IF they deem it warrantable. just my opinion.
good luck.

There should be a lumbar support knob on the seat. Try giving that a few cranks and see if that happends. If that does not help then you should take it back to the dealer for a repair.

I think he was referring to the cushion being soft.
The lumbar control only applies pressure to the lower back rest. and not the lower cushion. but then again perhaps I missed his description?
