We service at Ford dealerships and I can't imagine that 10k miles or less would cause that. I can imagine going 15k or more between changes. It has literally only been 13k miles since our last engine and we have changed the oil twice already.

Lemon Law the hell out of that thing. I would have been in the office after the 2nd one raising hell with someone to get me a new damn truck fully loaded with the best warranty Ford has ever issued. I would also tell them for the trouble to let you delete the DPF and put a tuner on it. You should be able to own that dealership after 3 blown engines in a brand new truck.

haha i dont think they would go for the dpf delete and biggest warrany ever but that would be sweet i would definately tell them they better get you a new truck or two

Just have them give you two trucks with unlimited mileage. This way while one is getting fixed you can still work.

When you say brand new engine, is it from Ford or is the tech at the dealership rebuilding it. I have to start pointing fingers at human error after that many times.

Wow, how long is the powertrain warranty good for? Get rid of it before it expires at least.
