Check this oil leak out!!!!!!!!

Well go out to get in the truck this morning and see this oil leak on the driveway. Crawl under the truck to take a look and everything is coverd in oil. Then go to pull the dip stick to check the oil level before I drive it 3 miles to the dealership and the whole damn dip stick comes out tube and all. All the didd spots of oil on the driveway are from last night I made like three diff runs into town and I think every time it moved it just made another oil spot. Wrecker is on the way to get it so ill keep yall posted.

I would not be a happy camper........hopefully it will just be the dip stick. You have been using it to beat ppl with it haven't yu.

the dipstick broke at the weld where it bolts up at the valve cover , a new dipstick tube and you should be fine

Hey Scuffy, is this a common occurrence with the 6.4's? I thought I heard this in another thread somewhere.

Yes when they sent a 3/4 ton tow truck to pic up my 350 I hit him with it and said your not thinking with your dipstick jimmy. He tried to pick up the back of my 350 with his f250 and it picked the front of his truck up. So he said Ill got get my roll back and this is what he brought. Do you think he could have brought a smaller roll back? There was like 2 or 3 inchs from the rear tires to the back of the flatbed. And it was sitting in 2 2x4's nailed together. This is how we okies do it

i havent seen it yet , but the dipsticks are cheaply built , so i can see how it would break

Man that is crazy...kinda reminds you how big those duallys really are. A normal car would have fit on that lil flat bed pretty easy.

So did you get a chance to crawl around under the hood and see if it is probably just the stick?
