HELP!!!!!

I am out of town (not too far) I was driving under acceleration and the tranny downshifted and then upshifted and started throwing white smoke deltas are 12 . Ran a check and i have codes : PO 275 ,PO278, PO305. Engine runs rough on idle. I am ascared!!!! Any help is much appreciated

The p0275 is a contribution code/injector cyl 5. P0278 is cylinder imbalance #6. And p0305 is a misfire cyl #5. Sounds like you have a bad injector to me. How many miles on the truck? I'd avoid driving it or you could possibly have that injector hang open and melt the piston or grenade the motor. Either way bad news.

Sounds like exactly what happened to mine, won't know for sure what it is until I get it in but everything I have read and everyone I have talked to has said sounds like a hole in the piston or cracked piston. If I pull the dip stick while it's idling it has lots of blow by.

Thanks guys...... It has 48500 on it. I`m going to bring it back to stock this week and have it towed into the dealership.I will check blow by via the dipstick when i put everything back on.

mike... melted piston from hung injector? cracked piston?? what was it?

you should have them install ARP studs when they put the heads back on!
