best egr delete fpr 6.4

i had 2 6.4 trucks that were both dpf deleted. they are both 2008 models. the first truck blew the bottom half of motor b/c of faulty egr. i still have the second 6.4 and i want to know what the best egr delete is. the first truck had 112,000 miles, this truck has 57,000 miles on it. am i correct in thinking an egr delete along with a dpf delete and routine main. can prevent the second motor from coming apart?

My vote would be Sinister........and to answer your second question IMO..........

This is the #1 reason why I did the deletes. I want my motor to last a long time! There was a great post a while back with video of why the 6.4 deletes are the best option for these trucks.

My #2 reason was fuel economy.

And #3 It turned my once tame 6.4 into a MONSTER. I had no idea how much power there was to be unleashed!

Whichever EGR delete kit you go with make sure you get the one that includes the intake elbow. They all pretty much serve the same purpose. I don't think there is much if any gains from one to another. Some are cosmetically more appealing. As long as you go with one of the well known brands like sinister or flo-pro I'm sure you will be fine. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
