2010 6.4 Low pressure fuel pump

So my truck shut off yesterday. Tried bleeding the low side but no luck getting it started. It didn't act like it ran out of fuel so I had it towed to the dealer. They ran few tests and said I ran out of fuel. This morning the call and say that the low side fuel pressures dropped to 1psi. now they think maybe the low pressure fuel pump went bad. Anyone know how much it cost for a new one? or any input on all of this?

If your LP pump is bad I would switch to an airdog 2, fuel lab pump or the A-1000 pump. All are better than the factory LP pump and filter better.

Unfortunately I need my truck and do not have time to wait for aftermarket. But a need for pump is 522.00 and 170.00 to install it plus the 165.00 to diagnose it. The ford dealer told me they don't make this pump aftermarket. Even though I knew they were full of crap, I just let it go because I need my truck. I'll be better prepared next time hopefully

You should be able to get a used one out of a salvage yard in decent shape for 100.00
