I have a 08 F350 SRW C/C 4x4, with Magnaflow exhaust and Diablo tuner! Had the truck drop to limp mode around 300 miles from home. Got it to the dealer, they said that the wiring harness for the high pressure pump shorted out, along with the high pressure pump, and 2 injectors. Got it back and made it 150 miles and same problem!

Hey guys,
I had the same problem, with the exception of it was also shorting out the wiring harness for my high pressure pump. After 4 high pressure pumps, 8 injectors, 3 high pressure wiring harnesses, they got in touch with Ford Engineering! They found that there was also a short in the injector harness under the valve covers. After all of this it appears to be in working order! Each time I would not make it over 100-125 miles between repairs. |
