Dpf gone bad?

My check engine light came on yesterday so i scanned it today and it said something about the dpf and bank one? Does this mean the whole unit is bad? Does anyone know how much they are/ or if the manufactures drivetrain/powertrain warranty covers this?

Thanks alot in advance for the feed back guys!
