Ford is going to pull the cab off to fix my truck. Truck as I said has a dead cylinder and there going to pull the heads. Everything sounds good so far. Service mgr. said a couple of days and I should have it back.

It should. I really love the shop I take it to. Great guys fast work and they treat you like family. What else could you ask for.

ford called today. Four pistons and a new head is going to be the fix. Will have truck back Monday or Tuesday. please let this be the end to my problem child.

That was a STUPID STUPID STUPID move on ford to add all the emissions bull sheit. diesels themselves do not put out the harmful chemicals like cars do. they essentially caused more problems by making something that would have worked great overly complicated!

Leave it to the government(EPA) to screw it, something that is working, up completely. I think it is a combo effect with the mandated ULSD and the emissions controls on diesels. the only thing they could do to further screw it up is make the general public get special class licenses just to drive a diesel vehicle. Just my.02 worth.

same thing happened here, I bet you have dropped an injector. I've had 3 replaced so far. Not happy with Ford either.

I was speeding down the road and then it happend. I will post pics of the smoke this thing was blowing out after it finally went into regen. When I get the truck back I will tell the whole story. Should pick it up tomorrow after work
