Is the 6.4 dead???

Ran fine a few weeks ago. Say til yesterday. Ran fine yesterday and today. Drove about 2.5 hours, was loading a boat had truck idling for 10 ish minutes. Shut it off while I was working. Fired it up to move it a few feet and it was running terribly. I thought nothing of it and shut it down. I figured it was just a bad start and would go away. Finished loading and strapping and started it again. It sounded like crap again and would only do about 5 mph. I unhooked trailer and was going to drive to local dealer to get it checked. Even with no trailer it only would do 10 mph. It still sounded like crap and was shaking badly. No check lights or smoke. As I was getting ready to pull into traffic a wrench came up next to the odometer. I backed back into the marina and called dealers no one seemed to care. I called corporate ford and they were shocked that no one cared. They called local dealers and had the same luck I did. I had it towed home 2.5 hours and $500 later since no one would look at it 4-6 weeks. As I waited for the tow truck and in between phone calls to local dealers it died on me and would not start back up. It finally did start and the wrench was gone only to reappear one time. The truck is at my local dealer and they said they'd look at it tomorrow. I'm just wondering if the motor is cooked or not. I need a truck if its bad ill go but a new dodge and worry about this thing later. Even of its going a few weeks I still need a truck.

Well when brought in the truck was on only even cylinders. They cleared/reset the computer and it was fine. They test drove it and lost cylinder 6. Cleared it again and it keeps losing random cylinders. No pattern just random cylinders. They asked if I recently ran out of fuel I said no they also asked if I recently did fuel filters I said no. Last I heard from them they had no ideas.

Thoughts??? I need the truck back soon as possible.
