6.4 engine misfire...help please!!

Hey guys I just joined the forum there seems to be a lot of good techs on here so thanks in advance.

I bought a 6.4 which was missing on cylinder 5 at an auction..I ordered an injector right away and when I took the valve cover apart I found that the bridge between the valves on cylinder 5 was laying in the valvetrain. After looking at the rocker arm it was obvious the little pucks were worn down so I bought a new rocker. Put it all back together and truck ran perfect for almost 1200 miles.

Today I was driving and it started misfiring and throwing a code again so I take the valve cover off and the bridge is laying in the valve train again. I talked to a ford tech and he suspects the camshaft lobe is ground off.

Also when I did my first oil change I noticed there were a ton of shavings on the oil drain plug. It's a 2008 ford f350 with 163,000 miles. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Adam
