also purchased extended warranty(worthless as well)

1st time on forum, I am seeing common issues with Ford covering engines under warranty. I have an 08 6.4 with 6months left on 5yr warranty 86k miles. truck has been good so far. #5 has no compression, the other cylinders are low around 300 or so. they are saying the engine is dusted and they are not wanting to cover this. I heard injectors are common for sticking and leaking, causing cylinder to overfuel and fail. If this is the case it should not matter what the other cylinders show one is completely failed. I am one of the few loyal ford owners who still bought ford after owning a 6.0 that cost my company a lot of time and money in the 4th year I owned it. I still bought 3 08 6.4's for my company, last year my 450 got a new motor at 40k miles. I also know motor have been warrantied for dusting as well.

I would get a lawyer involved and sue. Your attorney fees are going to be cheaper than paying for a new engine. Ford needs to honor their contract with you. More than likely the dealer is the problem, after working in various dealers marine and family in auto dealers. The dealer usually is the one to be the ******* about everything if there are denials of warranty on a issue.
