EGR Required for DPF regens?

Removed the EGR and tuned off, but haven't done the DPF yet.

Will disabling the EGR cause the DPF to not regen?

Removing DPF later like 6 months but wondering if EGR has some kind of function with regens and if EGR is always set to zero this will cause the DPF to not regen.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

No your good to go. There two seperate systems. Although if your tuning has also deleted the dpf, then your regen will be off. So make sure that the egr function was the only thing disabled, or else that dpf will clog.
